To help normalize HIV and STI testing for younger audiences, we used a bold, friendly platform that made safer sex feel simple, local, and judgment-free. Ready, Test, Sex. turned a familiar phrase into a clear invitation to get tested and get connected to free resources.
Challenge
Create a vibrant, relatable safer sex campaign for youth and young adults that reduces stigma and increases HIV and STI testing.
Approach
We reimagined “Ready, Set, Go” as “Ready, Test, Sex.” to deliver a direct call to action. Quick listening sessions and message checks with youth, young adults, and campus and nightlife partners helped lock in tone, visuals, and priority channels. We kept the creative spirited and approachable with simple copy, bright visuals, and local faces. Paid social and geofenced mobile drove to a short landing path with clear testing options and a free at-home kit.
