Gun violence was impacting families across Mecklenburg County. The community needed a message rooted in care and shared responsibility. Not Another became a unifying rallying cry the community could see themselves in, making prevention personal and inspiring action.
Challenge
Develop a multi-channel campaign that raises awareness of gun violence and connects residents to real prevention resources and support.
Approach
We grounded the campaign in community listening to ensure tone, visuals, and messengers reflected real experiences. The campaign used familiar faces and trusted voices, with simple language and clear pathways to action. Distribution reached residents where they already are: neighborhoods, transit, schools, social platforms, events, and mobile, all directing to resources for safe storage, youth programs, and local support.
